Re: Faulksville/Foulksville Hospital?

There was a Forksville during the War west of Calhoun. If I remember correctly it was near where the Pleasant Valley community is today. This is where the Stage road forked with one fork heading north to Farmerville and the other heading on West to Vienna. There was a Comms. wharehouse there during the war but I do not believe there was a hospital.

There were a couple of private homes, one being Dr. Youngs, that housed wounded & sick soliders from 62 till late 64. This was near where Wells Rd. intersects Hwy 80. There are two old cemeteries within a mile of there. But this location is about 10-12 miles from where Forksville was.

The Faulk Cemetery off Logtown Loop Rd is old, but was more of a family cemetery. I have walked it many times and 99% of the folks interred there are related.
