Jim...I wonder what units they joined? I guess we wont know? I just find it odd that quite a few were being paroled with Taylor's army in May of 1865 when most of these guys were fighting in Virginia. My first theory was that they lived in the area after being discharged, etc. I was always under the impression these guys were dispersed to ANV units.
