W. A. "Bill" Camp enrolled in Union Parish, LA as did your I M Wheelis, Sr Both received pensions in Arkansas.
See Arkansas Confederate Vetrans and Widows Pension Applications. Strong, Arkansas and Monticello, Arkansas
are not far appart and Union Parish where Bill Camp was
is where his father taught School. Both are in Company "i"
Note: Husband and wife both Drew Pensions in Arkansas
for they lived there after the War. Get back to me if you
want me to send the page from Shreveport, LA.
Company I, Sparrow Cadets (Union Parish LA). Bill's
father George C. Camp was a School teacher in Union
Parish with one wooden leg.
