There were five Bringhurst boys born to Augustus L. Bringhurst and Mary Louise Waters in Alexandria, Rapides, Louisiana.

Charles Ernest Bringhurst
Francis Augustus Bringhurst
I know that the top three boys served the Confederate Cause and possibly Charles but Francis was born in 1850 and probably too young to serve.
One of the siblings child married into the Kramer Family.
I will keep digging and see if it can be determined who the Street and the ball field were named after-I think one may also have been a mayor of Alexandria.
