Jack, there is a nice museum at the Mansfield Battlefield. Reenactments and living historys are done. Same with Port Hudson. Other must see stops in Louisiana include Ft. DeRussy (ask Sreve Mayeux) and Camp Moore. Confederate Memorial Hall in New Orleans is the 2nd largest collection of Confederate artifacts in existence (unless the newly opened Texas Museum has claimed that honor.)
