Arrrgghh.....this is obscene!!!! Hope the CW/WBTS community can grant a stay of execution for the DQ fersure.!!!

Several years ago while visiting ancestral sites where the 11th/17th Ark. Infantry was active, I was camping out in my truck not too far from St. Francisville. I woke up at dawn ready to drive, but "something" (weird music here) told me to drive through St. Francisville and down to the Mississippi River.

I rounded the corner and LO, there was the Delta Queen churning its paddle against the current while getting ready to offload some tourists for a sightseeing bus. I drove my truck (4x4) onto one of the piers that was still standing at that time and watched the DQ make its landing before dropping its gangplank.

Pretty neat experience for this Native Arizonan......
