You should be aware that Booth's book, although the best source there is, is not all-inclusive. For instance, my great-great grandfather, Zenon Vincent Mayeux, is listed as Z. V. Mayeur. He was from Moreauville, and there was another Zenon Mayeux from Avoyelles Parish (Evergreen) who is not listed in Booth at all, who filed for a pension after the war due to wounds.
