Re: info re Logan's Cavalry around Port Hudson....

Thanks Kenneth for your help,
So much happened in my area that it is nearly impossible to get it all straightened out.
The movements of the CSA at this point in time(Port Hudson Siege)is much like trying to follow a Mosquito in flight.
I'm becoming consumed with the excitement of battle as I venture down the paths that were once being used in much haste,as the Rebel Calvary moved from one strategic point to another.
The Plains Store,Olive Branch,Clinton,Jackson and many creek crossings, all hold the ghostly memories of battles past. Some sickened with the sorrow of battle and others excited with the jubilation of success. All can be heard from within the shadows of the briar laden forests.
Again I'll thank you for your time,Westerner77
