Guess I am the only rookie to respond. I did my basic there at Bravo 2-1 in Oct. 1973. I remember the term Tigerland and I understood it had to do with the Southeast Tigers as well.
I only finished up my service in Ft. Hood, but would of proudly served our dear country anywhere..
