I was reading on Glen C. Cangelosi, M.D.’s web site last night about the 6th Company of the Washington Artillery in 1862. I have reason to believe an ancestor of mine may have been in that Company.

A month or so ago, I was told an ancestor was in the Washington Artillery, but I could not find his name in the rosters of the five Companies. I also tried Booth’s List, but did not find his name. Until last night I’d all but given up in connecting my ancestor to the Washington Artillery and in fact I did not know there was a 6th Company.

Do you know where I can find a roster of the 6th Company?
