St. Helena Regiment and St. Helena Parish Militia

Hello all,
I am looking for information (or where to find information) on the St. Helena Regiment and the St. Helena Parish Militia during the WTBS.
Both of these units were probably state militia units, and I don't think any of the soldiers serving in these units appear in Booth's book ( the only Cade Strickland in the book is C. D. Strickland, his nephew, who served in the 4th Louisiana Infantry and Wingfield's 3rd Louisiana Cavalry).
My focus is on Cade Drew Strickland, Jr., who was commissioned by Gov. Thomas Moore as a Major of the St. Helena Regiment at the breakout of the War and as a First Lieutenant in the St. Helena Parish Militia in 1863, according to an intro written by Donna Masters of the Secretary of State's Archive Office to a Notary Book transcribed and which belong to Strickland.
If anyone can shed some light or point me to the right source, I would greatly appreciate it.
Regards,
Craig
