It's exciting to hear some of my GGGrandfather's legacy is shared with others. Do you have any intention of giving the presentation on Gray's Brigade anytime soon? I would like to attend if possible. If not is a transcript available?

I have examined the roll cards in the records for L.D. Lord and they clearly say Monroe and only one of them actually says L the rest are labeled S. I'm sure Booth's monmumental task of compiling records had to have produced errors occasionly.

I live in West Monroe, so researching at LSU would be difficult but maybe I will have the opportunity one day. I will pursue the connection with the 11th.

Thanks,
Clay
