Battle of "Light Skillet road" or "Sandtown road"

Hello all,
Reviewing the Confederate Pension Application for Cade D. Strickland (1845-1914) of the 4th Louisiana Infantry, I came across reference to him being "In the Battle of Light Skillet road or Sandtown road." Cade mustered into Old Company G, "the Wingfield Rifles (later the Beaver Creek Rifles) on April 14, 1861, according to his pension application (He was mustered into Confederate service at Camp Moore on May 25, 1861). After 1862, he transfered to the St. Helena Rifles of the 4th Louisiana (I can't recall the Company), though he is also shown on the roster of Wingfield's 3rd Louisiana Cavalry, Company E.
Be it as it may, does anyone have any information or know where to point me for information on the Battle of Light Skillet road or Sandtown road? Where are these locations, anyway?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
