I do have a photo taken in Baton Rouge and he was wearing a ribbon of some type. I have tried enlarging and enhancing but I can make neither head nor tails of the ribbon. Based on his appearance, I suspect (given my knowledge of clothing, etc.this doesn't even qualify as a guess)the photograph was taken in the early 1900s.
