Unfortunately, the current restoration of the documents, previously housed in the Jackson Barracks facility, is still ongoing. As of right now, it is looking like it will be the beginning of 2008 before the records are completely preserved. Sometime after that, barring delays, limited research by the librarian will be available until the collection is re-accessioned. After that process, the public will be able to research them again. However, a time designated for the public being able to do their own research has yet to be determined.
