Thanks for the info on the Tulane library. I need to find the time to make a visit. I have faxed and e-mailed the Memorial Hall without response.

I am looking into a couple of ancestors that were Co Commanders in the 1st Louisiana (Blanchard/Nelligan)in 1861. The gg-grandfather invalided out in late '61 (the letters do not indicate what, just an accident)and the gg-uncle remained until the end of the war according to his letters. He was captured twice and ended the war in Fort Delaware.
