need additional infomation concerning xix corp-army of the gulf, 1st. la. cal. reg., 1st regiment, co. k (union)...does any one know the unit citations awarded co k during the civil war. 1st la cal. participated in +32 battles / skirmishes mostly in banks red river campain,but, i find nothing for co k except when they detach from the 1st la. cal., in thibodeaux,la. in 5/1865. where did this co. fight ?
