Re: campaign ribbons, Co k history

after 1.1865 i know where the co. is...they stay in the terre bonne area until 6.1865 then they are sent near opelousas to washington...my gr.grandfathers pension application forms state he musters in at thibodeaux and is taken directly to new orleans, and he musters out in new orleans... the trouble is he is confused about the dates and he mentions several in and out dates from 1862-wars end .it is obvious that by 1908 he has suffered memory loss...the pension is issued regardless in 1915...$19.00 a month pension #1148493 and i don't know when he serves... i sent a copy to the dept of interior requesting assistance and at present i am waiting for a reply...
