The records captured at Shreveport were a part of the holdings of the National Archives until the early 1960s. They were then microfilmed and transferred to the Louisiana State Archives. Off the top of my head, I do not recall the National Archives microcopy number. The series was titled something like "Louisiana State Government Records in the War Department Archives." After transfer to Baton Rouge, the archives began calling them the "Rebel Archives" because that was a stamp used on the documents when they were a part of the War Department archives.
