My great grandfather (Abraham Rutz) served in the Missouri Volunteer Infantry under Capt. Weber and Col. F.J. Jobiat. I am unable to find any information regarding -Company "C" 15th Regt. He served as a quartermaster sergt. for Gen. Sheridan for 18 months. I think the ret. was assigned to the 1st Brig. 2nd Division, 4th Corp, Army of the Cumberland. I would appreciate any information.
