Fair Play , Missouri

My gr gr grandfather, Richard Elijah Clark, was captured at Fair Play , Missouri on October 30,1864 at Fair Play, Missouri. He was a member of Loves' Confederate Cavalry commanded by Col. Freeman. I've not been able to find a battle there on that date. I have papers showing he was paroled by U.S.Major General E.R.S. Canby May 18,1865 from a hospital in Granada, Mississippi after haveing spent time as a pow at Rock Island, Ill and Point Lookout , Md. Does anyone have any information on battles in that area and time?
