Sir, I have no record of an Alldridge (or any of the various similar names) in the 8th Missouri Infantry, CSA. Also, the 8th never served east of the Mississippi River. It served in Arkansas and Louisiana from the time it was formed in late 1862 until the surrender in 1865. It was at Shreveport when the Tran-Miss Department was surrendered.
