Misti: Thomas Fountain does not appear in the list of MO Confederate dead contained in Leslie Anders, Confederate Roll of Honor: Missouri, which contains the names of all known dead. It is admittedly not complete, but is pretty much so for the units, like the 1st Infantry, that served east of the Mississippi River.
