Does anyone know how many MO Confederate flags remain in existance? The MO State Museum has Marmaduke's Division flag, the 2nd & 6th MO Infantry, and the 1st MO Cavalry regimental flags. A flag of the 9th MO Sharpshooter Battalion is at the Arkansas History Commission. The Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond has a 4th MO Infantry regimental (Van Dorn design), and I understand that a 1st MO Brigade flag is at the Kennesaw National Battlefield Park. Gen. Sweeney's Museum in Springfield has a faded Missouri State Guard flag that is not like the official blue merino with the state seal on it. Does anyone know of others?
