For those of you interested in the Civil War "way out West" I've just opened the "Kansas in the Civil War Message Board" at http://history-sites.com/cgi-bin/boards/kscwmb .

Due to a number of requests from our Trans-Mississippi researchers and a special request and encouragement from Dr. Bill Shea, author of "Pea Ridge; Civil War Campaign in the West", I've added this message board to our now total of eight (8) sites.

I hope you'll visit and participate and if you know of others who might find this site of value, please inform them of its URL/address.

Soon, I'll be adding more states, namely Kentucky and South Carolina. I'm also considering some "special interest" sites for CW Navies, Medicine, Artillery, Photography and Art, etc. If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact me.
