Doug, In Ancestry.com I found a Richard Asbury living in Monroe Co. in the 1870 census. A Richard Asbury is listed in the Index of Biographys of Clay, Ray,Carrol,Chariton and Linn. This Richard Asbury is listed as being born in Christian Co. Kentucky on May 26, 1836 to F.S.W.Asbury and M.Netta Scott.
