The subject served as a Pvt. in the 6th Missouri Calvary, CSA, Company A. On July 26, 1863 he was taken to Searcy, Arkansas as a prisoner for being AWOL, but was later released and served the remainder of the War. I would like to know if there are any records regarding his Courts Martial regarding the reason for his abscence and his sentence.
