Re: Totten's Division - late 1862

Totten's Division (Second Division, Army of the Frontier) looked something like this in late November or early December 1862:

First Brigade:

26th Indiana (Col. John G. Clark)
7th Missouri Cavalry (Maj. Eliphalet Bredett)
Battery A, 2nd Illinois Light Artillery, a.k.a. the Peoria Battery (Lt. Herman Borris)

Second Brigade:

37th Illinois (Lt. Col. John Black)
20th Iowa (Lt. Col. Joseph B. Leake)
6th Missouri Cavalry (Maj. Samuel Montgomery)
Battery F, 1st Missouri Light Artillery (Capt. David Murphy)

This represents the "mature" Army of the Frontier. It may not be accurate for September and October when Curtis and Schofield were still cobbling the various components together.

Assorted Missouri militia units, or parts thereof, operated with the Army of the Frontier but were not always attached to a particular brigade.

Hope this helps.
