James Holsclaw's wife was Lucinda Feland. Her Father was Andrew Feland who died 1838 in Howard Co and is buried in the Old Feland Cemetery in Fayette Mo.

Interestingly. George, Rowan, Wiley R., and Stephen Feland all sons of Thompson Feland, brother to Lucinda and thus her nephews, all served in Co A 9th MSM under Street. In all liklihood one or more were involved in afore mentioned incident with James Holsclaw. So much for blood being thicker than water. Might be a reason not to hold a family reunion anytime soon :>)

Thompson Feland's will is in will book 8 pg 114 Howard Co Wills

James Holsclaws is listed in book 5, page 350.
