The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: 1861 Missouri State Conventions

Here is a link to the page where the file is located:
http://www.archive.org/details/proceedings00knaprich

On the left you will see the formats available (PDF, txt, etc). The PDF was 52 MB (the book is almost 300 pages). Evidently someone actually scanned the book in as there are photos of the cover and back. The PDF scanned pages are fully word searchable. (The TXT files are smaller, but appear to be an OCR of the PDF and therefore misspelled words exist)

If you put MISSOURI in the SEARCH bar at the top, quite a few titles come up –many dealing with the Civil War, including those about Lyon, Fremont, Missouri Compromise, slavery, the October 1861 State Convention, Battles of the Army of Tennessee, Campaign Against Sterling Price, etc. I have not taken the time to look at what all is available, but it appears to be a good resource for a myriad of books on Missouri history. (Mormon War, exploration, early settlements, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, etc)

I’m not sure what-all books they have, but it appears to be a lot. (There is other stuff also - you can watch an old Popeye cartoon or All Quiet on the Western Front)
