Bartels' "Civil War in Mo Day by Day" has the following entry for 10 Sept '64: ...This day saw a skirmish at Pisgah, Cooper County. Conf. Commander Captain Taylor, described as a new man on the south side of the river, encountered Lt. Kerr of the Militia about five miles northeast of Pisgah this evening. Kerr managed to kill four and wound several others before his horses gave out in pursuit......Qs.: Does anyone have additional info concerning this incident, messrs.
