You might want to make sure you saw my May 19, 2006 posting contained in this site's archives regarding Elisha Scott and Co. L, 2nd Missouri Light Artillery. I am not sure if Gil has completed the unit history as yet. I do know he has done extensive research on the men of the battery and all of the engagements they were involved in. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the son and son-in-law of mountainman Jim Bridger were members of the battery.
