I recently read a reference.from The third regiment loiusiana infantry by william h tunnard..he states on the march from cassville to wilson creek. at about the vicinity of betwwen crane creek and dug spring they observed a hot air ballon watching there movements..has anyone ever heard of this before? its a first for me...
