Not to create a situation but merely to create an awareness of the facts. There were Black Men whom served with the south to defend against what they saw too... Among these men was John Noland whom rode with Quantrill. If I may quote Pennington's Roster: "John was a Black man who was Quantrill hostler. Attended reunions"
