Capt Moses Beck headed up an Independent Cav unit called the Missouri Defenders in the MSG. Anybody know anything about the man or the unit? Where they came from etc.

Is this the same Moses Beck killed at Ashley Aug '62 acting 1st Lt of Snider's Cavalry?
