I noticed on the Fort Davidson webpage there was listed a certain Alfred L. Simmons, Pvt., Co. K, 3rd Missouri (Greene's) Cavalry CSA.

Could someone please give me some more details about this unit and the Pvt. Alfred L. Simmons in Co. K of it?

Could he possibly be the same Pvt. Alfred L. Simmons who served in Co. I, 7th Arkansas Infantry as described at the URL given below?????

If this is the same person, I may have discovered by gg-grandpa Alfred L. Simmons (brother of Peter Owen Simmons and James Simmons in Fristoe's MO Cavalry)...!!?!?!??!?!
