The Fort Davidson web page is a list of soldiers compiled by my staff and I. It is of the 22,000 men listed as being in the various units of the raid. I personally don't think that many were in the raid, but strongly suspect 18,000 were. If your ancestor appeared on a list it has been included.

There is a column that is titled "Confirmed at Pilot Knob" should be the last one. If that has a number 1 in it, they have been confirmed from assorted sources during our research. If there is no number, they could have been there, they might have been, say, with Shelby at Potosi during the raid, or could have been picked up as conscripts during the raid on its course through Missouri.

PS the data on the website is out of date. I've added a lot more stuff in the last 2 years since that file was put online. Up to date info is on my computer.
