I think that this could also be Edith Doss Moore, 'Old Edy Moore' in the Watts Hays Letters. Before the War, 1860, she lived at Blue Tsp., Big Cedar, Jackson Co. and there is a 16 year old John Rucker living with her. She was the widow of Travis G. Moore. Her daughter Martha was the widow of Margaret's half-brother, Matthew Yocum. Their son Tommy Yocum was killed at Corinth.
