I am slowly putting family stories together for myself. I find conflict where I wasn't expecting it. I've read census records, spoken to relatives, found relatives I didn't know I had, made friends were I wasn't expecting it and have a lot of questions. If anyone has an answer to any of these, please contact me. Thanks in advance.

I am David Q. Anderson's great granddaughter. His son, James Columbus Anderson is my grandfather. James Columbus Anderson, Jr. is my father. All these men are dead so I can't ask them any more questions. I know at one time my father thought William Columbus Anderson was his grandfather. I believe from family stories I have added research to that he thought this because his own grandfather died in 1885, just two years after James Columbus left Brownwood to follow his brother to New Mexico. The family stayed in touch and I think a young boy just got an elderly male relative mixed up with a grandfather figure.

Question 1: Does anyone know the middle name of David Q. Anderson?

Question 2: There are photographs of William Columbus Anderson on two sites that I know of, the Bloody Bill Mystery Yahoo site and http://unclebilly.texas-heartland.com/Photo_Album2.html. There are also pictures of FM Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Anderson. The photo I am asking about have typed print text under each. Does anyone know the origin of these photos and who applied the type print? Its different from the type set of the book Frontier's Generation, 1980 edition, so I don't think the type set came from there.

Question3: Does anyone know who worked on the Tevis Clyde Smith Frontier's Generation,1980. I'd would like to know how submitted the Anderson photos into the original firt part of the book.

I am so sure there will be more questions, I just have to go for now.
