I don'thave anything specific on Missouri.

I believe the only time Native American troops on the Western Border fought as "regulars" against white troops was at Pea Ridge. I think after that, there was oppostion to using them in that capacity, althought they continued to fight against opposing Native American groups. Below is a link to some info.
