I'm interested in the events of Co D St. Clair Co. MO Mlitia. I have an ancester who served in this unit, David E. Brown. He is buried in Mayes Co. OK in the Ross-Mayes cemetery. I have other ancesters who served on both sides as scouts. I also have a statement where he served in Co G Clark's Regt. MO Inf. Aug15/62, C. Nation, Final disposition not found of record. He was AWOL on roll 30/63.
