My son lives in a home on 2 hiway in Cass County that he has been told was owned for many years by the McFerrins. In the barn are several sets of carved intials that would substantiate this. Do you know any history of this house? It would be appreciated. There is a story that it was burned in about 1863 during a civil war battles and rebuilt.
