My great grandfather was William "Bloody Bill" Anderson. My grandfather's name was Henry - the only son of William as far as I know. He was a trapper providing for my mom and her siblings by trading furs. The family hailed from Kansas and I grew up wondering why my dad always teased my mom about her grandfather being a horse theif. It was a family embarasement that we never talked about.
