My Grandfather fought with Co.G,7th Missouri.Name was John D.Manion. His name appears in John Edwards` book, "Shelby And His Men". Listed as one of the 14 enlisted personnel who comprised what Edwards termed a"secret corps" formed in the late days of the war by Magruder.I have tried several times to learn what he was doing during this period, but have not been successful.I have a document from National Archives showing him to have been a POW at Pine Bluff, Ar., three days in late March,1865.
