Thanks, guys; I should have noted that he died in Marceline and I think he is buried in Linn County. So I was trying to figure out if there is a simple way of determining which (if any) of the five might be my ancestor. I'm REALLY new to this and don't have experience to lean on. (ALSO, I'm not trying to get anyone else to do my research - but don't see a point to "reinventing the wheel" either.)
