I am looking for information on a Rulben Sinn. I obtained
his his parole slip from the battle of Vicksburg, where
he was a Confederate POW. It doesn't list his Regitment,
it just says Co. A Infantry Volunteers. The man I got it
from thought maybe he was from a Missouri Regitment, but
didn't know for sure. The date on the slip is July 8,1863.
The Commanding Officer was a S.N. Forg, Captain 31st
Regitment, Illinois Volunteers. I got a list of all the
Confederate forces at the battle of Vicksburg, but so far
I havn't found anything. Any info would be helpful.
