Wow! This seems too good to be true! Did the CSR for Wm. F. Simmons happen to give his age by any chance?

I did find a couple of Wm. F. Simmons in both Missouri and Arkansas 1860 censuses whose age might be appropriate for the one in the 2nd MO Cavalry....?

I assume that the CSR docs for Wm. F. Simmons, 2nd Lt., Co. C, 2nd MO Cavalry don't provide his DOD info on Jan. 8, 1863?

Jim McGhee - can this possible scenario (Wm. F. Simmons, Co. C, 2nd MO Cav. being killed at Springfield, MO on Jan. 8, 1863) possibly be confirmed by any docs you are aware of?
