My other ggggrandfather, John Holland, enlisted in the 3rd Regiment, Missouri State Militia Cavalry (1st Organization), Company H, as a Sergeant, for a three month tour. Would you happen to have any information about where he would have served? I was hoping to tie him into Andrew County, Missouri, where my other ggggrandfather, Stephen Hill, lived.

John Holland, lived in Harrison County, Missouri until abt. 1860, when he moved to Clements, Kansas. According to some of the information I found, he enlisted at age 51, along with his horse, in the Missouri Cavalry so he could somehow get back to Harrison County to help relatives there.

At one time, I had three ggggrandfather serving in the Civil War.
