I am trying to acquire any information on James Dent, an Australian born Civil War veteran. Anything on his life in Missouri, his family, descendants and especially where he is buried. All I have is James Dent born in Australia. His residence was not listed, but he enlisted as a Private Co A, 1st Missouri Light Artillery; exact date unknown. He also saw service in Battery “A” Missouri 1st Light Artillery. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I want to add him to the Memorial Website www.acwv.info.
