thanks.. i was curious as to his band which information seems to be lacking.. at first i thought he was a member of one quantrill's sub bands.. but, he is not listed.. if he was the "scourage" ,as he refered to himself, to the union in that area i would think there would be more info.. no newspaper articles ect.. could it be that he was actually just a member of a band such as riders or todd ect and was tried and executed? and maybe he was just refered to as a leader of a band.. by the way , thank you for all the info you contribute..
